In memory of a special lady. There’s never a good time nor an easy way to say goodbye. I still hear you laughing and I still see you smile.
Each of us has our time and our space to shine, and we do. Small or not, we touch and transform every life around us, often in ways we cannot begin to imagine. Every one of us matters, everyone makes a difference. When we’re gone we leave behind a unique-shaped “hole” – one that no one can ever fill in quite the same way. I’m grateful for every single empty hole I feel because it means I had someone wonderful, someone special in my life.
Our life is less of a gift to us, than it is a gift to others. To all those who have shared this gift with me, thank you. Thank you for being there, for being a part of everything. Thank you for creating memories with me, ones I can pull out at random whenever I choose. Thank you for laughing with me, for laughing at me, for letting me know that life really does not have to be that serious.
For all the hands you’ve held, lessons you’ve shared, and friends who will miss you….. We shine for you too.
